The house had only been for sale about three weeks when the first offer came in. The offer was considerably less than our asking price, but it came on the weekend of our first open house where two other couples indicated interest – one expressed intent to make an offer. Our agent told them to get with it if they wanted to make an offer because they weren’t going to be first in.

Real estate laws vary from state to state. Apart from the legal issues in following state laws, making proper disclosures, and having offers and counter offers in writing, there is much more to the actual selling. Marketing your house is where agents earn their commission. If you are going to use an agent, selecting that agent is important.

There are choices to be made in preparing a house to be sold. Your financial situation and time constraints will impact the decision making. You can try to sell it fast, but probably at a discount, or you can fix it up to try to get top dollar. Fixes that won’t help the selling price, but will help the sale happen sooner may still be worthwhile if you need to quit carrying the expense of the house.

Previously I explained that health care is available to everyone – there is no health care crisis in this country. Now let’s show why there is no health insurance crisis either, which I can most effectively do by showing that health insurance is affordable to everyone.
In terms of a health insurance crisis, can we agree that folks who currently have coverage aren’t in a crisis? They may think their premium is too high, but it isn’t a crisis, OK? So, let’s look at the uninsured as the crisis.

I know this is political heresy, but I disagree with either of the two premises of the health care reform debate. Understand the difference between health care and health insurance. The reform debate seems to have blurred those lines, but either way:
* First, there is no health care crisis in this country
* Second, there is no health insurance crisis either
These contradict the widely accepted premises behind what you are told by the media, politicians and even AARP, so I understand skepticism. Today, let’s examine the “health care crisis.”
Health care is available – even to the uninsured. . . .
